When booking an online appointment please ensure that it is essential that you see your Doctor.

Many appointments can be dealt with by our
Nurses or Health Care Assistants.

Our Nurses at Balance Street provide traditional nursing duties that include cervical cytology, contraception ie. pills, coils and implants (insertion and removal) and advise on family planning, dressings, immunisations, travel advice and suture removals. They also provide chronic disease clinics including Diabetes and Healthy Heart.

Our Health Care Assistants provide a supporting role to the clinical staff and they are responsible for ear syringing, ECG's, 24hour BP monitoring, NHS health checks, B12 injections, INR, cholesterol checks, audiology, the taking of blood and Hypertension Clinics.

Test results

There is no need to telephone the practice, or arrange to see your doctor, for your test results. We will contact you if a follow-up appointment is required.
