We are pleased to announce that Dr Henry Seddon will be joining Balance Street Practice on the 1st April 2018. If you have received a letter as of the 1st April 2018 you will be registered with Dr Seddon.


Dr Trewin and Dr Burton are reducing to Part-time as a job share. Dr Seddon will be looking after half of each of their lists. He is an experienced GP and well known to the Partners and we are looking forward to him joining the team.

Dispensing Assistant

Working hours: 3:30-7pm  2 nights per week (plus extra hours in school holidays)

We have a vacancy for a dispensing assistant. This role would suit a school student aged 16+ with excellent communication skills.

Applicants with an NVQ 2 in dispensing would be an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided.

Balance Street Practice is looking for an apprentice to assist in our Administration/ Secretarial department within our busy GP surgery.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in customer service and business administration. The role will give the successful applicant an opportunity to work in a team environment, learning about the various complex administration and secretarial duties involved in General Practice and the NHS.

 

This is an exciting opportunity working in customer service and business administration within a busy GP Surgery. Duties include;

 

Dealing with patients face to face and via the telephone

Assist with marketing – i.e. update of website

Using the clinical system to analyse data

 

General office duties such as photocopying and filing

Electronic referrals for Doctors and consultants

 

Spreadsheets – using excel

Dealing with confidential post

 

Working with Consultant clinics

 

Administrative duties including scanning and coding

Typing/ Audio typing

 

Clinic set ups
