we are hoping the national computer issues have been resolved but at times we are experiencing intermittent issues, please bare with us. We apologise for an inconvenience.

In the departure of Dr Seddon in November 2018 we are having to change the way we work at Balance Street Practice as there is a National shortage of GPs. We have a small pool of regular locum GPs to ensure continuity as best as possible. Our Reception team will be asking the reason for your call, this is to direct you to the best and most appropriate care. We kindly ask patients to bear with us as this difficult time.

Many Thanks from the Partners & Staff at Balance Street Practice.

Our next Staff Training Day is 16th October 2019. The practice will close from 1:30. Dispensary will be closed from 1:30-4:30.

**NEW** Our practice is involved with a new Living Well program - please check back soon for more information under "clinics & services"

Administration

Our secretaries and administrative staff provide an important role in assisting the doctors and practice staff in the day to day running of our busy practice. They also deal with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Business Manager and Accountancy Assistant

Our business manager Fiona is responsible for all financial accounting for the practice.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries.
