Due to increasing demand and workload, depending on the nature and urgency of your appointment if you have multiple concerns you may be asked to book a second appointment.
With the increase in patient demand we have a number of appointments that are on-the-day only, this is to ensure those with acute illnesses are seen. If it is a routine appointment or a non-urgent matter you may be asked to call back at 8AM another day to book an appointment.
We also keep a number of afternoon appointments available for urgent medical issues, unless your appointment is urgent you may have to wait a few days for an afternoon appointment.
In addition, our receptionist may direct you to the most appropriate clinician such as our Advance Nurse Practitioner (ANP), one of our Practice Pharmacists or even refer you directly to a local pharmacy. If you are referred directly to a pharmacy, the pharmacist will then contact you and advise you over the telephone or request that you attend the pharmacy.
Due to the increasing rise in Covid-19 cases it is now mandatory to wear a face covering when attending Balance Street Practice and Balance Street Pharmacy, unless you are medically exempt. We have a limited supplies of masks at the surgery, so we therefore was ask that you bring your own mask with you.
Patients of Dr Everett:
Due to the departure of Dr Everett at the end of June, we want to assure patients that they will be supported by our Locum GPs and Dr Day who are currently caretaking Dr Everett’s Patient list. We ask that you bear with us and assure you that we are working hard to maintain continuity of care for our patients.
Thank you for your understanding
